SEPTEMBER – DECEMBER PLAYLIST + WRAP UP & BLOG BIRTHDAY
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Today is my blog anniversary! Never Hollowed By The Stare is 12 years old!
To all my followers who have been with me through the years, I can’t say this enough:
☆Ⓣⓗⓐⓝⓚ。:.゚ヽ(。☉౪ ⊙♥)ノ゚.:。+゚ Ⓨⓞⓤ☆
This little project started as a randomness post on Tumblr in 2011, evolved into a book blog in 2016, moved to WordPress in 2018, and became self-hosted in 2020. It has become a major part of my life, a therapeutic and satisfying pursuit where I can also promote MM romance authors, especially the indie and the self-published, so I can help keep the genre I love most alive.
The past year was quite a ride. We took a huge leap and launched a chocolate business! We know next to nothing about business, but we were so passionate about our unique recipes inspired by our favorite rock bands we said, what the hell. We’ll learn as we go along. So SHOOGAREEN was born and is happily thriving. The customer feedback has been awesome! They say our chocolates are ‘addicting‘!
After the first miserable years, work took a turn for the better. I’m finally getting the hang of my job and making fewer mistakes. The best part is that the company is sticking with the work-from-home scheme. We’re required to come to the office for only two days a month! My hikikomori soul rejoiced!
Shocker of shockers, I won an Apple smartwatch! It’s one of the major prizes at our company year-end party. It’s the first time I won anything in a raffle, so I’m super thrilled. I’m still deciding what to do with it. I never had a smartwatch or anything Apple before. Not sure if it would work with my Android phone, but yay, I got a brand spanking smartwatch!
The new year is off to a bangin’ start. Arctic Monkeys is coming to our shores in March!!!! My tickets are already booked!!! I’ve been listening to this band since their start in the 00s and watched them evolved through the years. Nothing short of Armageddon, or them cancelling, is going to stop me attending their concert!
