PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE BOOK TAG (Nov 16, 2019)

I found this tag on Chelle’s Book Ramblings . It’s simple and fun. I thought I would put my own spin on it and make it a monthly weekly tag.

When I was a little kid, we had a yearly festival in my town which usually involved a coronation ceremony of the festival queens. They would dress little kids in cute costumes to serve as glamorous accessories to the queens. I was one of those little faeries and my father, being creative, would make wings patterned after the faerie wings in this book. Brian Froud’s fae folks were fascinating if a little creepy so this was one of my favorite childhood books.

I love Sally Malcolm‘s brand of romance. They always have the right balance of sweet and angst so she’s definitely an author I would go for if I’m in the mood for contemporary MM. Twice Shy promised to be just as good as her other New Milton books, Love Around the Corner and Between the Lines. Also, I’m hoping for appearances from the other couples from the previous books. I need to read this soonish!

I still haven’t read book one, The Last Sun, but I’m liking the looks of things here so I probably should bump it up on my TBR list. As per blurb: The Tarot Sequence imagines a modern-day Atlantis off the coast of Massachusetts, governed by powerful Courts based on the traditional Tarot deck. It’s also full of queers so it should be good.
