My favorite YA horror series. This is a story of an apprentice and his enigmatic monstering hunter master. The events here are truly horrific sometimes I think it shouldn’t be YA at all. I love it when a book succeeds in scaring me.

I love how this series raises the stakes higher and higher without sacrificing quality, detail, pacing and storytelling. Truly epic in all sense of the word.
