FLICKer FADE SUNDAY: Sisak (India’s First Silent LGBTQ Love Story)
Featuring LGBT short films I found around the interwebz a.k.a Youtube. Okay sucky intro, but yeah, that’s it.
“After 71 year of independence, the Supreme Court of India decriminalized homosexuality on 6th September 2018. Homosexuality in India continues to remain a taboo. Many love stories fail to find a voice. Sisak is a dedication to all the silent, unsaid love stories.“
This is so beautiful and sad and happy at the same time it got me teary eyed. The tension nearly killed me. I love how they’re communicating through books!!!

FLICKer FADE SUNDAY: Safe & Sound
Featuring LGBT short films I found around the interwebz a.k.a Youtube. Okay sucky intro, but yeah, that’s it.
Sam, a neurotic young man, with the support of his boyfriend, invites his eccentric latino family over for dinner to deliver life-changing news.
What a refreshing take on gay stories! It ran through an entire gamut of emotions in 19 mins. The plot twists just kept coming and the ending is adorbs! LOVE!!!
