Ichi Ni no San! – Okuyama Puku
Since middle school Bun-chan has been hanging out with the male/female childhood friend duo that is Choco and Suzu. And he’s jealous of their closeness—partly because he wishes he could just generally be as close to them as they are to each other, but he has another reason: he’s in love with Choco, and it seems like just a matter of time before Choco and Suzu start dating. Choco constantly denies it, though–Suzu is like his adorable twin sister. Nonetheless, Bun has never bothered getting his hopes up. And even if Suzu’s adorableness wasn’t a part of the equation, it’s not like Bun could ever tell Choco that he accidentally happened to fall for him one day when the boob-loving Choco jokingly groped his chest and Bun got aroused by it. So Bun is mostly happy with just being friends—him, Choco and Suzu forever! Or at least, that’s what he’d intended…
This one’s got fluff and cute written all over it.

It’s a one-shot about a guy falling in love at first sight with a stubborn guy.
How to catch a tsundere.

Mostly average stuff but chapter 5 made me laugh.

MANGA: Close Your Eyes

Close Your Eyes – Hidaka Shoko
Love in middle school is a simple, straightforward and exciting thing. Love in high school is a bittersweet thing that makes one anxious and timid. This love is a secret.
Two childhood friends and neighbours suddenly stopped talking to each other after summer break. What could have happened between these best friends who used to be joined at the hip?Yep, it’s bittersweet alright. Emphasis on the bitter.

MANGA: Mizu no Haru

Version 1.0.0 Mizu no Haru – Kurosawa Kaname
Awkward relationship between high-school boys, Sunohara and Shinomiya.
Awkward relationship is indeed awkward but not squee-inducing or humorous like Ichikawa Kei’s works. In fact, this one has a serious tone with just enough exchange of emotions to make you say “sweet”.
I love how the author draw piercing eyes and continued the story up until they were in the university. The dad gets his story too.

MANGA: Kocchi Muite Waratte

Kocchi Muite Waratte – Ichikawa Kei
Asano, who works part-time at a pub, is one day confessed to by a hot, antisocial coworker, Kakei. However, even after his confession, Kakei doesn’t make any climatic moves, so Asano decides to take the initiative.
Cute is an overly used word for BL manga but how cute is this one?!!! The mangaka certainly mastered creating awkward conversations that induces butterflies. I love that it has both POVs, there are no girls and the seme-uke thing has a twist.

MANGA: Yuki no Shita no Qualia

Yuki no Shita no Qualia – Kii Kanna
Graduate student, Akio, meets his junior partner, Oohashi Umi, as he collapses in his hallway. The next day, he witnesses Umi kissing another man. How will Akio feel about Umi using the name of “Michiru” his sister, and the relationships of a night he has …?
There are many elements in this manga that I don’t like. There’s the promiscuity, the smoking, the boring story, the dearth of fluff and the lack of chemistry. On the upside, the art is nice. Let’s just say there are better manga to waste your time and money on.

MANGA: Gunjou no Subete

Gunjou no Subete – Furuya Nagisa
‘Once noticed, it was…’ From the 1st year of middle school to the 2nd year of high school, Makihara Kai and Mizushiro Ren have been in the same class. A small ripple is born in the unchanging days that pass by… that makes the feelings they were unaware of start to bloom. Wanting to tell him, but unable to say it. The answer deep, deep within their hearts is… The path of youth and high school boys unable to voice their love.
The moment I saw the picture above, I just knew I had to read it immediately. Only a first few chapter are out so far but OMG!!!

MANGA: Endou-kun no Kansatsu Nikki

Endou-kun no Kansatsu Nikki – Hayakawa Nojiko
Because of changes in seating arrangements, high school student Tsuda ended up behind the quiet and expressionless Endou. Their interaction is born from a trivial incident, and he begins to see Endou who he has never gotten to know before. That mole, slender nape, and soft hair. The subtle faces that he makes and little changes in his attitude. But Tsuda, who used to be indifferent about others and never made any deep connections, now feels impatient about the distance between him and Endou, who he has been gradually getting closer to. What on earth is drawing these feelings?
When I started reading this, I was pretty meh about the whole thing. I mean what was so special about this Endou guy? Sure he is insanely cute with a mysterious aura but I had come across characters like this before. And then it happened. That big moment…right in the middle of the train station! This has one of the hottest kisses in manga. They were so pure and sweet! Plus I really love it when the author shows the perspective of each person. Oh, and the artwork is lovely.

A one-shot about Hiroshi’s co-worker, Haru-san, and his lover who is 6 years older than him.
Juvenile lover is too juvenile.
