PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE (September 9, 2020)

Found this tag on Chelle’s Book Ramblings . It’s simple and fun. I thought I would put my own spin on it and make it a weekly thing.

A gripping tale of one woman’s harrowing experience told from the point of view of her 5 year old son, who was a product of abuse. This nightmare hits close to some of my biggest fears. Despite it not being a comfortable read, I almost finished the book in one sitting. I don’t have plans of watching the movie though.

Is a nice little wedding with Blow-up Randy and Jackson My Love too much to ask for? Clearly, because someone’s trying to kill one of us… again.

Here goes Leland asking for too much again as he tries to keep Jackson safe in time for their wedding. I’m excited for this book even if I was struggling with book two. It’s Leland and Jackson dammit! (Here’s hoping the jokes get better…)

When both are tangled up in a murder, though, they have to set their personal problems aside and work together—first to clear their names, and then, when the killer turns his attention on them, to survive.

But what might really kill them is finishing a seminar together on King Lear.

Yet another mystery series from the King of Slooow Burn, Gregory Ashe. This one a departure from his usual police detectives. The MCs are two university students, one a freshman, the other a grad student, getting themselves involved with a killer. Interestingly, Shakespear is thrown in the mix.
