Published: September 20, 1996

This is a story about a young girl’s quest to save her big sister from the netherworld with the help of a tengu. This story is set in the Heian period which is rare. This was one of my favorite childhood books. Totally went gaga over the surprise hint at a romance between Mitsuko and Goranu the tengu.
