PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE (May 20, 2020)

I found this tag on Chelle’s Book Ramblings . It’s simple and fun. I thought I would put my own spin on it and make it a weekly thing.

TBH, I just put this on my TBR long time ago because it’s queer. But then, I’m wary about reading gay literature. I don’t have the stomach for high brow tragic bullshit anymore. But after some research, I found out this one has a more positive portrayal of homosexuality, so I’m bumping this up.

I first read Mary Renault’s The Charioteer around age 17. It’s still one of my favourite books.

These two men are from different worlds, but can they ever meet in the middle?

An unlikely pairing of a snarky model and the world’s grumpiest farmer. Not exactly God’s Own Country but I’m so here for creative ways of keeping warm in cold cow fields.

Surviving a broken heart wasn’t easy, but Phil Thompson moved on by keeping his past with Cole Fisher neatly tucked away in the deep recesses of his mind. Sharing his home with two cats sometimes gets lonely, and now and then he needs human companionship, but his friends with benefits relationships haven’t hit the mark. No one has measured up to Cole even after fifteen years.

All I know so far from the blurb is that this is a second chance romance. Okaay…

I also heard it has a lot of cats. So yes, to my TBR it goes.
