SOUNDTRACK: Starlight by Jai Wolf feat. Mr. Gabriel
Soundtrack to Sucker For Love Mysteries: Acsquidentally In Love by K.L. Hiers
Starlight for Sloane, the Starkiller. Also the lines, “Wake up in your crystal sky / We’re floating till we fly” and “We’re slowly falling through the night / Illuminating coastlines / Headlights toward the afterlife” reminds me of the part where Loch took Sloane to the city in the stars where the ancient gods sleep and dead go.

Starlight raining over me
Like drifting through a memory
Wake up in your crystal sky
We’re floating just to feel alive
Starlight raining over me
Like drifting through a memory
Wake up in your crystal sky
We’re floating till we flyWe’re slowly falling through the night
Illuminating coastlines
Headlights toward the afterlife
Bright enough to shine
Colors fade into the waves
Swimming through reality
I see your eyes above it all
I can hear you callStarlight raining over me
Like drifting through a memory
Wake up in your crystal sky
We’re floating till we fly -

FLICKer: Batty Boy
Featuring LGBT short films I found around the interwebz a.k.a Youtube. Okay sucky intro, but yeah, that’s it.
Batty Boy is an uncompromising short film exploring the complexities of the black gay coming out experience through the eyes of young Dolcie a Black British gay boy of Caribbean heritage as he faces the struggles of fitting in with a community posing strong cultural homophobic beliefs. Set against the backdrop of a dancehall black gay clubbing scene a homophobic song being played triggers Dolcie to remember a series of intense past memories that were influential in setting him on the path to becoming an openly Black gay man.
