Home wasn’t a place. It was people. Pack.
-
The only easy day was yesterday.

“Everybody has a dark side…it’s okay to take that side out for a drive every now and then. Healthy adults have this crazy thing called impulse control that tells them when and where to do that. It’s what separates us from psychotic serial killers. And teenagers.”

Nine years ago, he’d been caught in a nightmare and rescued by a few men who’d seen something in him that he might never understand. They’d taken him away, given him a home, and helped him create a new life. A fantastic new life. Together, the four of them had made a family, and now there were four more. Each and every man in the room was an integral part of that world. As he looked around and realized that they were finally free of the burden of his past, he could only smile.
-
He extended his right hand to Noah, not even trying to hide the fact that his fingers were trembling. He couldn’t lose Noah. Mel’s death had destroyed his life, but Noah had given him balance and laughter again. He lifted him out of the abyss and made him feel alive. He had to find a way to meet Noah…at least part of the way. After years of loyalty, patience, and unwavering love, Noah deserved at least that.
But he was afraid. Was it too late? They were both so damn broken in their own way.

“You?” Jude prompted slowly, dark eyes locked on Snow’s.
“I…want to continue this conversation after we pick up my things.”
Jude smiled. “Coward,” he murmured softly.
Snow’s hands snapped out, grabbed Jude and hauled him close. “I just don’t want to fucking tell you that I love you in the front seat of my car, dammit.”
Jude blinked at him. His mouth fell open, then closed.
-
“Do it,” he pressed. “Please.”
Andrei rattled something off, the foreign words wrapped in his deep voice, so they sounded incredibly sexy and inviting. Lucas pulled back to look Andrei in the eye. “What did you say?”
“Your monkey has stolen my bicycle.”

Wait time is the worst
I can hardly sit
No one has the time
Someone’s always lateI look for you
And you look for me
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, ohI don’t know why
I came down
I hold your phone
Don’t wake up
I hear a voice
In the groundTell me, don’t tell me
The hard part is damning
There’s something that you would not like me to tell you
Tell me, don’t tell me
The hard part is damning
There’s something that you would not like me to tell youWait time is to blame
Mat top frame’s a trip
We all have the time
Someone’s always fed
I look for you, and you look away
Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohI don’t know why
I came down
I hold your phone
Don’t wake up
I hear a voice
In the groundWaking up is so much fun to do.
(Tell me, don’t tell me
’80 movie make out party, yeah
There’s something that you would not like me to tell you)
(Tell me, don’t tell me
There’s something that you would not like me to tell you) -
“I want you to remember that,” Ridley whispered. “That no matter what, you’ll do anything I tell you to. Because you will. Won’t you?”

Frail of heart
Renounce all fear
Locked away inside
All these years
Remain in the light
Renounce all fears
For you have been
Mesmerised
Break this spell
Of silence
