With one exhausted actor-waiter struggling to get out of the restaurant world, and another just trying to break in, ‘The Good Waiter delves into the complicated psychology of pursuing ones dreams; could it be that La-La Land might not offer everyone a happy ending? Romantic, sweet but also disturbing and weird, ‘The Good Waiter’ forces the viewer to reexamine the classic idea of living as an ‘aspiring-whatever.’
