I found this meme on The Writerly Way. And I’m doing this on a Thursday just to be difficult.
FIRST LINE
JEREMY didn’t really know his last name. His father was a con man and his mother was history, and he went through so many different identities as a kid helping his dad on the grift, that all he knew of himself, really, was that he was a bad person. He had to be. His one skill set was relieving people of their money.

Oh, but they were. And Jeremy’s heart was pounding, and his breath was coming quick, and his skin was going hot and cold in the late October afternoon. Suddenly Gianni’s face faded from his mind, and all that was left were their fingers, twining together, and the knowledge that even when Aiden let go, he’d still be at Jeremy’s place that night with a movie and a snack.
