Houkago Edge – Muno
Tobari’s always loved cute and feminine things. Which sparks his eventual venture into drag. One day, while he was out in public dressed as a high school girl, he bumps into fellow classmate, Inui. It’s annoying to Tobari how amusing Inui finds it, but at least he’s promised not to tell anyone. But with no plans of letting him off for this hobby, Inui proposes something outrageous. He is twisted and unstable, but for some reason, his words are reassuring. A story of a secret love woven with something unnerving.
I thought it was going to be a bullying then falling in love kind of story. I’m so glad I was wrong.

Umibe no Etranger – Kii Kanna
Three years ago, Hashimoto Shun, a gay novelist in the making, met Chibana Mio, a very quiet high school student, in Okinawa. Mio had lost both of his two parents and was often seen sitting on a bench until very late, watching the sea, near Shun’s house. They slowly grew closer to one another, but Mio suddenly had to leave the island, to pursue his studies… Three years later, Mio returns to Okinawa: “I’ve been thinking a lot these last three years… Even if he’s a man too, I love Shun.” Will these two finally be able to take a step forward together?
My second Kii Kanna manga. I’m still trying to get use to her writing syle. I like the artwork but the story is unnecessarily complicated.

Uruwashiki Shuen – Fujitobi
A virus is spreading in the city, turning people into zombies. Two people are trying to survive.
Fucked up but not that disturbing
-

Ito Mo Tayasuku – Hayakawa Nojiko
A short one-shot about a guy with three arms, his friend, and his travels.
This is some deep allegorical shit. I like it.

Never Understand/Out of Control – Bbong
Yuri, one of the school’s most handsome guys, and Jaerim, one of the school’s ugliest, collide!…or don’t they…Can’t understand what’s going on between these two! It’s Out of Control!!
I was meh when I started on this then it proceeded to blow me away. Best couple was Yuri and Jaerim, of course. I also loved the dynamics between Kang and Dunno. I wished they had more page time but the mangaka chose to give extra stories to the boring couple Yumin and Dohoon and the worst couple, Aerik and Heeno whose relationship I found superficial because they were just based on looks.

Hatsukoi – Kazuki Rai
Hirono Yuusa always believed he was special and destined for greatness–until tragedy struck in his final year of middle school. Now, jaded and disillusioned, he’s completely given up on ever trying to be anything more than ordinary. But when he starts to notice classmate Himekawa Ichigo struggling to do his best against all odds, he can’t help but want to cheer him on.

Eiyuu to Shounen – Nakamura Asumiko
A young boy remembers meeting his hero during wartime.
Nakamura Asumiko can make you feel more in a one-shot with 19 pages than most manga with a several chapters.

Sick – Kurahashi Tomo
He’s good-looking, he’s suave and he comes from a rich family. Everything is all smooth-sailing in Sudou’s life. Not to mention, he doesn’t have a girl tying him down.
He’s got drama-free friends and basically a blossoming campus life. That’s how it was supposed to be. However, the highlight of his day is always teasing socially crippled Kishi, who shares the same seminar as him.
“What in the world am I doing!?”I really liked Sudou’s slimeball seme character but Kishi’s wimpy uke shtick was not appealing to me. The big bro should have his own story.
